Some things can be done out of order. For instance, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Some things cannot, like laundry, baking souffles, and shower routines. Writing and building a platform are also in that category.
In my efforts to steadily produce blog posts every week, I've found myself neglecting my novel. This has lead me to the thought, What's the point of a platform without a book to put upon it? Therefore, I'm taking a break from blogging for a while. I'm going to focus on my writing without the added pressure of posting every week or two.
This is not goodbye; I'm merely taking a short trip. I will be back soon with a book to share.
